In a letter,1912 Dec 19, Nordau writes to an unidentified recipient that he considers the two highest achievements of man in the past year to be the "extension of European culture to European Turkey, Morocco, and Libya with Cyrenaica, and the passing of bills in both houses of the British Parliament, for establishing at least the principle of a minimum salary." He hopes to see President-elect Wilson "successfully wrestle with the great Trust-Powers and begin to free the American people from their yoke" in the next year. In a letter, 1920 Apr 13, Nordau writes to Mr. Dryden in London that the Secretary of the Zionist organization has given him Dryden's handwritten letter of April 12. He regrets that he cannot meet with Dryden since he is giving speeches in Edinburgh and Glasgow. He hopes to be back in London on the 24th and will let him know and arrange an appointment.
